One night at the Luxury Grano del Oro Hotel in San Jose, breakfast included.
Five nights in the Nicuesa Lodge where the jungle meets the sea in the Osa Peninsula. Our party will have exclusive occupancy of 165 acres.
Private transfer from San Jose airport to the Grano de Oro Hotel and back, as well as a short private boat ride to the lodge.

Hike the trails of Playa Nicuesa to meet the unbelievably colorful animals like toucans, parrots and tree frogs. Immerse yourself in the tropical beauties of this country.
Yoga, yoga therapy, mindfulness, and meditation classes on covered a yoga deck next to the water offered twice a day.
The covered yoga platform is located just at the edge of the Golfo Dulce and the lull of its rolling waves complement all the classes.
One hour private session with either Cathy Daley or Cathy Gooden. (This can be scheduled before, during, or after the retreat.)

Cancellation Policy per person: (must be made in writing)

Any cancellation received between Nov 1 – Dec 1st, 2022 the deposit will be non-refundable. 50% of any other payments refunded.

Any cancellation after January 1st. No refunds will be made.

We reserve the right to cancel the trip if it is not meeting the trip minimum. If we cancel, your payments will be fully refunded.

Trip cancellation insurance is always recommended when making travel plans. We STRONGLY recommend taking out insurance within 21 days of paying your first deposit. Additional FAQs
Q: What airport should I fly into?
A: You’ll fly into San Jose at the Juan Santamaria Airport (SJO).
From there you receive free transfers on the first and last days of the retreat: we will be picking everyone up on April 30th and dropping everyone off on May 6th.
Q: What if my flight is delayed?
A: Luckily we’re staying the first night in San Jose, only 15 minutes away from the airport in the beautiful 4-star Grano de Oro Hotel (voted a top hotel in Central America and the Caribbean by Conde Nast in 2021).
You can get a later flight and still meet us at the hotel.
We definitely recommend you get travel insurance!
Q: How do we get to the retreat center?
A: On Day 2 we will leave the Grano de Oro Hotel and will take a small charter plane on a short flight (45-50 minutes) to Puerto Jimenez.
From there our boat will be waiting to take us across the shimmering waters (we’re likely to see dolphins on the way!) to the Nicuesa Eco Lodge — it's only a 20 minute boat ride to the private Playa Nicuesa Rainforest Lodge.
Your retreat takes place on a pristine coastal rainforest, surrounded by thousands of acres of lush natural beauty.
This is all included in your retreat package: no extra charges for these transfers apply, and we handle all the details…all you have to do is show up!
Q: I've never practiced yoga before and I’m not sure if I can do it.
A: If you can breathe, you can do yoga!
Our sessions will accommodate all levels and abilities, and they will incorporate more than just physical yoga postures. These relaxing sessions will include mindfulness, deep breathing, and self love practices.
Both Cathy Daley and myself are skilled teachers with many years of experience: plus, Cathy Daley is a certified Yoga Therapist specializing in helping people with pain.
Q: What if I don't want to take the charter plane?
A: No worries! We can arrange for you to rent a car or arrange ground transportation to Golfito, where the transfer boat will pick us up. The drive time from the SJO Airport to Golfito is about 4.5 hours.
IMPORTANT:
The transfer boat in Golfito that will take you to the Retreat Center cannot pick up/drop off guests any later than 3:00PM on the day of your arrival due to the water and weather conditions in the late afternoon.
You need to make sure you arrive at the Samoa del Sur Restaurant in Golfito before 3PM if you are not arriving with us on the charter plane.
DRIVING:
You may also drive or arrange ground transportation to Golfito. The road between San Jose and Golfito is well maintained and will take about 4.5 hours. It is recommended that you park in the secured lot at the Samoa del Sur Restaurant, where we will pick you up.
NOTE:
Renting your own car will be much more expensive than taking ground transportation.

Ground transportation takes about 5 hours from the SJO Airport to Golfito.
